2009 South Australia Kangaroo Island Pinot Noir

Extremely deep colour for a Pinot. The nose is all ripe sweet fruit with nuances of strawberry, raspberry and beetroot, finely balanced with a hint of oak. The palate is round and supple with ripe cherry fruit and typical Pinot savoury notes of forest floor.

Riverby Pinot Noir

Riverby Estate 2008 Piniot Noir

This wine has a lovely rich, deep, velvety, ruby colour. It has beautifully fragrant, floral aromas of dark red roses and violets,
lifted notes of spicy red and black cherries and a savoury bacon and mushroom backdrop.
The palate abounds with cherries and dark fruits and spicy savoury characters.
It is a particularly complex wine with impeccably fine grained tannins, good acidity and balance and an impressive lingering,
rich finish. It promises to develop even greater complexity and charm with additional time in bottle.
It should easily age gracefully and continue to improve for up to 10 years.

Silverwood Pinot Noir 07
Light to medium intensity with good clarity - a brilliant ruby red colour with a light blue youthful hue. Dusty, earthy and spicy (five spice) hints on the nose are layered over some cherry, berry notes. The palate is silky and soft with ripe fruit in the middle, showing sappy, cedary, spicy, bitter cherry flavours with some fine tannins. It has good acid balance as well as fruit /oak balance, the palate weight is light to medium with nice length and a savoury end note. This wine has taken time to develop to this point and will benefit from a further 6-12 months in bottle; this wine will cellar well and could be kept up to 5 years
